Mike Jolly is Director of IP Operations at Xsensus, where he leads the strategy, systems, and people behind the firm’s intellectual property practice support. Mike brings more than 15 years of experience in IP operations, spanning docketing, patent and trademark prosecution support, and practice management at some of the country’s leading law firms.

Before joining Xsensus, Mike served as Senior IP Practices Manager at Blank Rome LLP, where he partnered with IP Chairs and firm leadership to set operational strategy for a multi-office Patent and Trademark Practice Group. He previously held IP operations leadership roles at Nixon Peabody LLP and BakerHostetler LLP, and began his career as a patent paralegal and international docketing specialist.

Throughout his career, Mike has built and scaled IP operations teams, led docketing system transitions, developed AI-enabled workflows for prosecution activities, and established the KPIs and reporting that help practice leaders make informed decisions. He is known for pairing operational rigor with a focus on client service and team development.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Outside the office, he can usually be found on a tennis or pickleball court, experimenting in the kitchen, or exploring Virginia wine country.
